I offer academic editing in fields across the humanities and social sciences, specializing in developmental editing (the big picture stuff) and line editing (crafting your text through a collaborative revision process). My academic background as an anthropologist and ethnographer has prepared me to work across many fields in the humanities and social sciences. I have worked with clients on books and articles across several fields including anthropology, psychology, gender studies, political theory, ethnographic writing, history, and South Asian Studies. I find the writing process richly interesting and I really enjoy working with clients as they craft their books, articles, and book proposals. I honestly never imagined cozying up with The Chicago Manual of Style for my bedtime reading, but there you have it!
